The purpose of this study is to analyze economic effects on rural development project applying CVM(Contingent Valuation Method) to Senior Well-being Villages Project Based on the estimated binary logit model combining with the CVM analysis, The present study found that the project does not accomplish high level of economic efficiency, however, it should be evaluated with respect to qualitative views. The present study suggested that the policy has to establish targets more clearly and to give foremost consideration to pointed targets that are parallel to intended policy implications. These imply that it is necessary to apply concepts of selection and concentration strategy to the rural development projects. Furthermore, it is expected that it makes better accomplishment to give more developed autonomy and self-organizing capability at local government level.
