    This paper presents the controller design with a disturbance observer of a Flapping-Wing Micro Aerial Vehicle (FWMAV) considering actuator and sensor model. FWMAVs experiences periodic motions of the wings and their resulting aerodynamic changes. However, the controller design for the FWMAVs is mainly based on linear control with linearized models for a single period of flapping with Floquet theory. This approach is vulnerable to uncertainties from aerodynamics and fabrication errors and external disturbances. In this background, this study applies a disturbance observer based controller based on a simple double integrator model for a FWMAV dynamics. For this, numerical modeling considering an actual FWMAV is done by taking into account flapping kinematics, aerodynamics, actuators, and sensors. To verify the proposed control strategy, numerical simulations are performed in a disturbed flight situation.
