In this article ''Establishment of Strategies for Globalization of Traditional Korean Sports'', the significance of the Korean wave, the similar concept, and the meaning of traditional sports were reviewed. For a foreign environment analysis of traditional sports, sports and Taekwondo were analyzed at the microscopic level and sports association of the Korean Olympic Committee and partial sports of the Korea Council of Sport of All and non-profit organizations were studied. In addition, visions, goals, strategies, and tasks for globalization of traditional sports were suggested as follows. First, even though traditional sports includes sports with the values of traditional sports, in a broad sense, the meaning of ''traditional sports of the Korean race'' is assigned in a narrow sense. It was found that traditional martial arts were distributed to 73 countries of the world. Second, the establishment of strategies for globalization of traditional Korean sports is the method of visualizing globalization phenomena of traditional sports of Korean race. In order to achieve this, international standardization, domestic and overseas popularization, and construction of a globalization system were suggested in this article. In addition, development of cultural contents for traditional sports, construction of an organizational system and distribution system, plans for reinforcement of national status, tasks for each strategy were suggested. Third, as a result of analyzing the current status of traditional Korean sports, it was found that the global competitiveness of traditional Korean sports can be secured through cultural contents development and its distribution system and it is expected that it can become popular as a global traditional sports. In addition, more and more foreigners will enjoy traditional Korean sports while direct products and indirect derivative products will result in expansion of customers in terms of industry. Furthermore, traditional Korean sports can reinforce the national competitiveness and improves the national image.
