The HL7(Health Level 7) standard was developed for exchanging medical/healthcare informations generated by incompatible programs between different hospital medical information systems, and at the present moment, the HL7 standard is growing popular as a standard. But the HL7 standard does not include standards for medical sensors, especially mobile sensors. In order to solve this, our paper proposes and implements a new message protocol for a standard integration between TEDS(Transducer Electronic data sheet) of IEEE1451 standard and HL7 standard. As an application of this new message protocol, we also developed an Interface-Engine that would allow the IEEE1451 biosensor information to be exchanged with that of the standard message of HL7 basis in incompatible programs.
