The purpose of this study was to examine relationship among attention, preference and concentration of adjudicator judgement for development new judging system in dancesport competition. The subjects of this study were a total of 49 adjudicators, 38 men and 11 women, in Korean Federation of DanceSport and the sampling of this study was practiced in the purpose sampling method. The method of the statistical analysis used in this study were t-test, one-way ANOVA and simple regression analysis. As a result of these data analysis, the conclusions of this study are as follows.
First, there were difference statistically in partner skill(p＜.001) by sex and career, and in BET(p＜.01), BlT(p＜.001), OIT(p＜.01), NAR(p＜.01), RED(p＜.001) by sex, and in NAR(p＜.01), RED(p＜.01) by judgement division, and in BET(p＜.01), BIT(p＜.001), OIT(p＜.001), NAR(p＜.001) RED(p＜.001) by career, and in technical quality(p＜.01) by grade of adjudicator. The results of the study on the preference and attention power according to the adjudicator level of concentration, divided into the superior, the middle, the inferior, shows significant differences at the level of p＜.001 in each of OET and OlT, and at the level of p＜.01 in NAR. Second, the analysis of the effect of Preference on Concentration showed that movement to music and technical quality. And it was found that Preference had an effect on BET, OET, and OIT.
