The purpose of this study was to evaluate condensation prevention for condensation vulnerable areas around built-in wardrobe of apartment buildings. Recently, condensation and mold problems in apartment buildings have been on the rise due to high performance of insulation and airtightness. Condensation on built-in wardrobe were found on the back panels of the furniture and adjacent surfaces. To prevent condensation around built-in wardrobe in apartment buildings, we compared surface temperatures to dew point temperatures in condensation vulnerable areas according to adapt condensation prevention measures such as thermal bridge insulation, floor heating system, air layer width and amount of clothes.
