Recently, interest in FinTech, which combines financial and blockchain technology, is rapidly emerging from financial institutions to financial authorities and ventures. Blockchain technology is expected to provide various benefits such as reducing commissions, enhancing transparency, streamlining process, and enhancing security. However, it is in the early stages of the business due to the legal regulations and the risks to new industries compared to the importance of medical blockchain. In this study, we analyze the current status and barriers to use medical blockchain and suggest improvement directions for business development.
