    In this study the changes of unit hydrograph at the Soyang river dam basin over 17 years is evaluated to determine whether there have been any long-term changes in the rainfall-runoff relationships. We chose Clark's synthetic unit hydrograph that is commonly used in practical applications and used HEC-1 model with optimization option to derive unit hydrographs of surveying years. Peak time and peak flows are selected as unit hydrographs characteristics for evaluating long-term trend of them. The result observed based on these two values shows that the long-term trend of unit hydrographs becomes clear when analyzed from data having similar rainfall duration or similar total rainfall, but shows no obvious trend from data having similar rainfall intensity. While unit hydrographs of Soyang river dam basin show a slight decreasing trend both in peak time and peak flow, a significant correlation could not be found.
