The purpose of this study is analyze the Spatial Evolution of Seoul Railway Station.
Seoul Railway Station was built 3 times. In the first, it was built in 1923 as Kuyngsung Railway Station. And then Seoul Private-invested Railroad Station was built in 1987 at the back of Kuyngsung Railway Station. After then, Seoul Complex Private-invested Railroad Station was built in 2004 at the side of them. So the formation of these buildings changed considerably over 110 years. In its context, their spatial effectiveness and urban transformation respond each other. In this point of view, this study is reveal the mutual adaptation between architectural elements and urban context about Seoul Railway Station.
