Lao education if it compared with neighbor countries is lower quality. Education is responsible to produce human resources who have knowledge to serve the society. After Laos got independence from French colonial, in year 1945 almost the whole population has been illiterate. Therefore, Lao educational system is consisted by formal education and non- formal education, each system is different section, non formal education is accessible largely to out of school for students who did not have opportunities to attend school. Especially gender equality of education in rural area. In the past decade many poor families do not see the significance for improving their livelihoods and only lack of parent"s encourage children attending to school. Current the policy of Lao government has been focusing ethnic group and promoting direct education to them, especially female at remote area, all policies are directing to reduce eliminate disparities in access to education of disadvantaged group, especially girls, women. I love this course of gender equality I think it is related to my work a lot and I am sure that this course of study will help me to improve and upgrade my knowledge, skills in order to help me improve my work and I can know well about gender equality in the educational sector. I will utilize all my knowledge that gain from this course, I strongly believe that course will support my work. The research objective of this study will discuss the factors that contribute to improve their women"s life and encourage girls" enrolment to the school as well as the male. The objective of the research is to study the current status of the female in Laos this study discuss the factors affecting to Capacity building of women development education, and to promote Government policies to support women in education.
