The objective of this research is to propose, develop decision support system of chemical production complex optimization to determine the optimal configuration of chemical plants. It is a new methodology that has been developed to determine the best configuration of plants in a chemical production complex based on the total cost assessment for economic, energy, environmental and sustainable costs. The optimal configuration of plants was determined based on the triple bottom line that includes sales, economic, environmental and sustainable costs using the System. Multicriteria and multi-objective optimization methods have been used to determine optimal structure of a chemical production complex to prices, costs, and sustainable credits/cost. This research has been applied to Yeo-su chemical production complex and raw material and energy savings of 2 ~30 billion won has been expected by this methodology.
