High-rise condominium living is the new unspoken challenge to law, regulation and urban governance worldwide. As high-rise condominiums become a dominant form of urban life in most parts of the world outside Europe and parts of North America - the former, more tamed nature of “regular condominiums is being transformed. By stealth, it is also transforming cities and urban governance. These residential towers necessarily constitute a form of private organizations, governed by potentially powerful private entities such as developers and managerial companies, whose powers in the urban sphere are also on the rise.
