In this fast growing aged society, we can consider many choices for housing. For instance, baby boomers in the U.S.A. and Canada are becoming senior group, and they consider a variety of active adult life style along their retirement. This study finds that regarding silver town preference, elderly people with physical deficiencies feel urgency to move into the silver town. Elderly Cottage Housing Opportunity(ECHO) is a good example of offering an independent style living space for aging parents. The atmosphere is cheery and homey. The environment is restraint free and privacy along with confidentiality are respected. There is open, honest communication among staff, families and residents. Foothill Cottage prides itself on cleanliness and a well-trained staff that provides the highest level of care. Licensed nurse on site 24 hours a day, In-house physician and podiatrist established, and available when requested.
