Coffee is one of the significant natural resources and a necessary beverage for modern people. The market size for coffee is steadily increasing. Coffee enterprises now produce various products of coffee. The demand for capsule coffee is recently much raised because of its convenience, quality, and COVID-19. We conducted this study to examine the effect of coffee capsule packaging design on customers’ perceived coffee flavor. The packaging design plays an important role in marketing because adequate packaging would protect food and provide consumers with a rich experience for food flavor and other aspects. Packaging color is an especially significant marketing element for the coffee capsule packaging design. Forty-nine colors were selected for the first experiment after surveying the colors of coffee capsules and the Coffee Taster’s Flavor Wheel in the first experiment.
