The purpose of this study is to find out how the hygiene hotel affects associate satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior through this study as a way for hotel companies to overcome this crisis due to COVID-19. This study was conducted on hotel staff who worked in 3-star or higher hotels located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The survey was conducted in December 2021 for about one month. And 373 questionnaires were used for data analysis. The collected questionnaires were analyzed with structural equations and reliability, and confirmed factors. Due to COVID-19, a global pandemic infectious disease, travel agencies, airlines, and hotels are in a slump in the overall economy, leading to serious business deterioration. Furthermore, the tourism industry faced a major crisis due to the situation of instability in the employment of its employees. In particular, hotel companies, whose main customer base is tourists, are using the hygiene hotel as a strength to overcome this crisis. In addition, people who used existing hotels prefer non-face-to-face contact and outdoor activities due to COVID-19, suggesting that the type of accommodation and tourism are changing.
