This study probes the concept of "placeness" within virtual museums in the metaverse, aiming to transcend the museum"s locational characteristics arrangement to instill a deeper sense of meaning, identity, and belonging through real-time user interaction. Drawing on the psychological constructs of placeness, the research interweaves the physical and virtual worlds using AR and VR, challenging the conventional experience of museum visitation. The research identifies a need for user-centered design and interactive narratives that consider the nuanced behavior and cultural diversity of users. The primary focus lies on integrating real-time locational tracking to synchronize virtual and physical user presence, offering a cohesive experience.
