    In this study, complex dynamics in both the growth and collapse processes of a laser-induced cavitation bubble near a blunt hole employing a combination of experimental and numerical approaches are presented. The cavitation bubble is generated using a laser-focusing technique. The time evolution of the bubble was captured using a high-speed camera Phantom v2012 system with 120kfps which makes the bubble can be recorded at 8.33μs and 2μs exposure time to avoid blurring. To simulate the dynamics of a cavitation bubble, a fully compressible multiphase homogeneous mixture model that considers heat and mass transfer for a three-phase flow model was adopted [1, 2].
