The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between physiological signals of passengers in cars during actual driving and their thermal sensation and thermal comfort. Physiological signals including facial skin temperature, wrist skin temperature, and heart rate variability(HRV) were utilized, among which facial skin temperature showed a strong correlation with thermal sensation and thermal comfort. Particularly, the skin temperature of the nose exhibited a significant correlation with passengers’ thermal comfort, while HRV showed a very weak association with thermal sensation and thermal comfort.
