This study has a main purpose that closely examines the structural relationship among presence, The purpose of this study is to produce a dance performance designated as intangible heritage using XR technology and to present problems that emerged in this process and directions for improvement. To achieve this purpose, "Kim Baekbong Fan Dance" was produced as XR content and spread to online content, and problems and improvement directions were derived through in-depth interviews with five people who participated in the shooting. The specific research results are as follows. First, in the planning stage, a storyboard consisting of a total of 6 scenes and 11 cuts was prepared, and based on this, the main shooting was conducted at Paju IOFX XR Studio on October 12, 2023, and the XR content produced in this study was posted on the YouTube platform and used as online content. Second, as a result of investigating the problems and prospects in the content production process, two main problems were identified. Nevertheless, the XR content of "Kim Baekbong Fan Dance" produced in this study is judged to have realized the purpose well in that it proves the possibility of positive convergence between traditional dance and XR technology and can be used as a meaningful tool for modern reinterpretation and popularization of traditional art. However, since the lack of detailed planning and heterogeneity issues that can complement traditional dance and XR technology have been revealed, it can be concluded that more sophisticated planning and convergence strategies that fully consider the characteristics of traditional dance and XR technology will be needed in future production.
