Reason of State seems to have become the symbol of the Modern State, and the main hot issue in political arguments of the early modern age. The arguments among European countries including France were particularly composed of the conflict between two different ideological system. These arguments over definition of state varied in different ideological trends especially in different perspectives of how to appreciate Machiavel. However, what was not revealed behind these opinions was that he was considered historical reality beyond an ideologist from Firenze. Most of all, Reason of State was a discourse on which the new political reality was imposed.
