After the outbreak of COVID-19 infectious disease in China, it quickly spreaded to major provinces and cities in China in early 2020, and was gradually under control after mid-february. But since then, the epidemic gradually broke out in South Korea, Japan, Iran and some other countries in Europe and the United States. The pandemic has caused a huge disaster to human beings. Various countries have taken measures to prevent and resist the virus. Meanwhile, some countries have also carried out active public health diplomatic measures to neighboring countries affected by the virus. From President Jaein Moon"s touching remarks to various material and spiritual support, South Korea"s public health diplomatic actions have triggered a lot of public opinion in China. Therefore, In order to study the impact of South Korea"s public health diplomacy on Chinese public opinion, this paper adopts the method of organic combination of qualitative literature research and quantitative statistical analysis, and firstly sorts out various public health diplomatic actions of the South Korea government and the folk society to assist China. Using Gooseeker, the author selects two periods which are before and during the epidemic in China, and extracts Korea related Weibo articles and comments in these periods. The author then compares and analyzes the changes of Chinese public opinion in the two periods by comparing the word cloud map of key-words and by analyzing the emotion adjectives. Finally, the author summarizes the influence of Korean public health diplomacy on Chinese public opinion. The study shows that Korea"s public health diplomacy is well-timed, the participators are diversified, and the effect is obvious. South Korea has provided China with both material and spiritual assistance, and expressed the sincere hope that China overcome the epidemic soon, and delivered sincere feelings of being a friendly neighboring country. Korea"s public health diplomacy has not only brought the two peoples closer, deepened the emotional foundation of the people, but also enhanced the goodwill and trust of the Chinese people towards Korea.
