This study aimed at investigating thermal sensation on temperature
for each psture of the subject by controlling the room temperature
and floor temperature. It was made for each posture of one subject
during the period from january 8. 1990 to February 28. 1990 under
the room temperature of 16C, 18C, 20C, 22C 24C 26C 28C 30C and 32C,
and the floor temperature of 20C, 22C, 24C, 26C, 28C, 30C, 32C 34C
and 36C (total two hundred seventy one times).
The result of this study shows the thermal neutral zone line, which
connects the thermal neutral dots by each posture of subject based
on the room temperature and floor temperature. The thermal neutral
zone line can be expressed as following quadratic equations;
(1)Y=-0.083(X-20) + 31, at the time of sitting on a chair, and
(2)Y=-0.122(X-22) +33. at the time of sitting on a floor or lying on
a floor.
(Y; room temperature, and X; floor temperature, {Y/16 C<Y<32C},
{X/20C<X<36C}
If the results of this study are considered, It will be very helpful
for in the thermal environment plan in the future.
