In response to the needs of modern society the office building of now is bigger and taller than ever before and required to provide more various and flexible services. And the amount of energy consumption of the office building is incresased. Therefore energy saving technics and policies have been developed and enforced. Developing the reasonable and convenient evaluation method of energy performance in the office building will be the very thing and that is the main purpose of this study. The existing energy conservation design criteria and evaluation method of energy performance in the office building were examined and problems extracted in this study. The improved evaluation method and criteria of energy performance in the office building is proposed. That evaluation method of this study can be a tool of architects to estimate and to compare the energy performance in their buildings easily and therefore it helps them to find a way of energy savings.
