The purpose of this study is to investigate protective measures of
steel corrosion in concrete containing chloride. For this purpose,
the experiments for the ratio of corrosion area by selecting the
factors and levels such as chloride content, w/c, and covering
depth were executed. After specimens were cured in water for 28
days, specimens were cured in the autoclaved curing system with
high temperature and high pressure steam in condition of 8 cycles.
Results indicate that the ratio of corrosion area of concrete
containing corrosion inhibitor was decreased significantly when
the water cement ratio is equal, but was increased when chloride
content or water cement ratio was increased. When covering depth
is 3cm, the ratio of corrosion area of concrete is less than that
of 2cm.
