    TCP/IP has been recommended as a major protocol suite for asynchronous data service and G3 (Group 3) fax (facsimile) service over CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) cellular system in TIA/EIA/IS-99. It is normally used in wireline networks where error rate of link layer is relatively low, it may suffer severe performance degradation when applied directly to wireless cellular environment where channel frame error rate is significantly higher. In order to address such problem, the RLP (Radio Link Protocol) is used to suppress the frame error rate to a relatively low level. Protocols which have a retransmission function may have an effect on the performance of throughput. In this paper, we analysis the performance of protocol stack which has an effect on the throughput for data service in CDMA mobile network. We develop a simulation environment, test with TCP with some factors and analysis the results of throughputs.
