In general, a designer's knowledge which is used in solving the architectural design problem requires a more types of knowledge to make the generation of alternatives or the satisficing solution. The trpes of architectural design knowledge are studied in various knowledge, primitive knowledge, semantic knowledge, contraint knowledge, context knowledge, control knowledge, analysis knowledge, relative knowledge, declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge. The purpose of this research is to explore what types of knowledge are applied to in the architectureal design process. In this research experiment method is used by the visual protocol analysis which is the actural experiment by architects. Extensive protocols are recorded. In particular, the protocols contain sufficient information to make a detailed picture of the architects problem-solving processes. The results of this research are reviewed a types of diverse knowledge in solving the architectural design problem.
