Chejudo is in an unfavorable situation to develop the manufacturing industry comparing to the mainland because of regional as an island. However Chejudo has comparative
advantage about the primary industry and tourism comparing to the other area. Especially it has much room for development tourism agriculture which is connected with the primary industry and tourism. Considering the use of natural resources, control of gravitation of the population of agricultural society toward city, balanced development by region and creativity of job opportunity beyond agriculture, tourism agriculture is urgently necessary,
According to this, the direction of development of tourism farm in Cheju area should be like this. Fist, it should develop a mixed farm with citizen rest of city vicinity and learning function of nature. Second, it should develop a program which is connected with farm and neighboring tourism facilities. Third, introducing an ecological concept to the tourism farm, it should advance main distinctive strategy.
