Recently, the study on development of self-compacting, high-flowing concrete to decrease effect of the quality of
construction work at placement is being conducted actively, and is being applied to ultra highrise building and large-sized
mass structure etc. partly. However, the studies on manufacturing method for applying high flowing concrete to the
construction field, and on workability of fresh concrete were conducted until now, but on durability of concrete such as drying
shrinkage and carbonation after construction are not sufficient.
On the other hand, the utilization of concrete that durability is not secured is generated various problems such as decrease
of service life year after manufacturing concrete, even if satisfactory construction is achieved. Therefore it is decided that the
investigation on the durability of high flowing concrete can be certainly achieved for application of high flowing concrete.
In the this study, after manufacturing high flowing concrete according to the types of binder, superplasticizer and the
objective air content, it is aimed experimentally and positively to compare and to investigate the strength revelation properties
such as compressive strength and the durability properties such as resistance to carbonation. Therefore, it is aimed to propose
the fundamental data for great application of high flowing concrete which is expected that the utilization can be more increased
in the domestic construction production field hereafter.
