This article focuses on relationship of social movement organizations, especially the relations having effect on resurrection and reorganization of civil society. For this, the paper makes an analysis of networking pattern in social movement organizations, comparing the two year, 1991 with 1997.
The methodological feature of this article is partly focusing on relational approach, and partly linking together cultural approach which deals issues, symbols or framework. Of course emphasis on relational and cultural approach don't pay no attention to structural factor or substantial approach, but a wide range analysis including structural context is a next task.
Consequently, this article emphasizes a salient trait of networking pattern in social movement organizations, so call "linkage strengthening, solidarity weakening". 1997 networking frequency, density, degree and coverage is bigger than 1991 but homogeneity is smaller. This is a special of linkage strengthening. The other side, from 1991 to 1991, the features of transition single center to pluralistic center, clique formation, relationship change of blocs, disappearance of master symbol and symbol variety are the index of solidarity weakening. Because this features are the important bases of relative weakening leadership and distinction of Master Frame. In addition, there is little solidaritic value and norm in civil society. I characterize this "non-sectarian solidarity", especially classify "weak integrational solidarity" to compare with "strong social solidarity."
And I insist linkage strengthening isn't certainly related to solidarity strengthening if not solidaritic symbol, value and norm. But linkage strengthening is an importance force of civil society change.
