Terrorist strategies were adopted by members of the Korean liberation movement front in late 1919, when peaceful demonstrations were being regarded as methods that would bring the Joseon people to nowhere. At the time, there was no particular link existing in the people's mind between terrorist activities and the matter of ideology. Korean terrorists included all kinds of persons, Nationalists, Socialists and Anarchists, etc. In the early days, the Socialists were rather receptive to terrorist strategies. The Communist party at Irkutsk chose to adopt such strategy as a policy, and there are traces suggesting that the Communist party at Shanghai also resorted to such tactics, albeit to a lesser extent. But before long, those Communist parties all decided to abandon terrorist strategies, and that decision was being made around late 1921 and early 1922. It was not like every Socialists blindly pursued terrorist strategies. The Joseon Communist Party(the Neutral Party) inside the Korean peninsula was one of the most active supporters of terrorist strategies. On the other hand, the Bukpung group Socialists who joined the Joseon Communist party but were remaining as a minor voice made it clear that they were against terrorist strategies. The Seoul group Socialists who were preparing to launch an underground organization outside the party, also shared the resentment as well. It was the 1930s when the dissension over the issue of terrorist strategies that was prevailing among Socialists everywhere was finally resolved. And the resolution was made possible, as the Joseon Communist party was being resurrected under the dired instruction of the Com-Intern. As the resurrection proceeded, every Korean Socialists under colonial rule came to accept and share the Socialism's general refusal to developing terrorist strategies.
