When it comes to traditional Korean fabrics there are three different things we should think about First, ideologies are revealed through colors. Oh Hang Sa Sang can be seen in costumes such as Oh Bang Seck and this is connected to the traditional ideology call "In harmony with nature. Second, we should look at the aspect of shape. As we can see on Bul Bok Hwang Jik Mool, religious symbols are used in clothing and fabrics and played a big role Third, we should consider the prints on fabric Those prints were closely related to daily life at that time The symbol of Boo Gwee Dah San (richness, novelty, and property) and symbols depicting an ideal world can be seen printed on fabrics.
In these aspects, traditional fabrics can be understood as being related to other different cultural activities of that era. There are a variety of ideological approaches in traditional fabrics. It is said that traditional fabrics are were made over time. We have to study the history of the fabric weaving methods in order to understand them. Knowing the ideology in traditional fabrics and clothing is important in gaining a better understanding of them.
