Environmental issues are of fundamental importance. International concern that environmental damage should be minimized continues to grow. Green Building can contribute to reduce the environmental impacts due to the buildings. Especially in Korea, with high population density, its environmental disruption is severe and the international pressure put us to meet the future Agenda of Climate Change to reduce the Green House gas emission. To minimize the effect of building on the global and local environment while promoting a healthy indoor environment, Green building is essential. The Study Group for Green Building Technology supported by KOSEF provides the evaluation criteria and credits for Korean Green Building Rating System.
