This study has analyzed the LCC evaluation of the applicable cooling and heating systems in apartments house, and the results are as follows;
1) In the central cooling system, a gas fired chilling system is the most profitable, the second profitable system is an ice storage system, the third is a two stages absorption system using low-temp. water.
2) In the individual cooling and heating system, the gas fired chilling and heating unit is not profitable compared with an general system such as boiler and package air conditioner. However, the intial cost of the gas fired chilling and heating unit is similar to the general system, effective cooling and heating system than the general system.
