The purposes of this study are first to view changes and prospects of regional circumstances, second to examine the regional long-term development plan and future housing development suggestion, and last to present housing strategies for different regions. For the analysis of housing strategies. scenarios are established by three types such as housing provision, housing quantity / quality, and housing density in the aspect of capital region, local city, and local county.
The results of this study show that housing development directions can be distinguished between regions in terms of different characteristics. First, the capital region can be different in household increase rate, urban growth rate. urban or rural. infrastructure and population density. Also, the local city can be another angles in economic situations. urban growth rate. urban size, infrastructure, population density. and urban function. Finally, local county which has high ratio in elder, home ownership, and green land is somewhat different compared with urban areas. Therefore, it is realized that the local countries might seek different aspects of housing development directions.
