The purpose of this study is to present the discourse structure and the poetics of "Hwanhuigi(幻戱記)" in Yeolhailgil(熱河日記), the laborious work of Park ji won who evoked a big echo in the literary world of in late choseon Dynasty. "Hwanhuigi(幻戱記)", one of a series of Gi literatures, is an important work in the way that shows the writer's own features clearly with stylistic subversion as well as being related to "Hwanhuigi(幻戱記)" in other Yeonhaengloks(燕行錄). This "Hwanhuigi(幻戱記)" has the structural characteristics which an experience is divided off into two things, 〈Hwanhuigiseo(幻戱記序)〉 and 〈Hwanhuigihuji(幻戱記後識)〉, by the writer's intentional strategy. It reveals its own discourse characters from two aspects of an internal and an external logic. From the external logical point of view, this text shows the discourse structure of an elaborate triangled type with the Subject(主體), the Observer(客體), the Object(對象). This text also shows the repetitional structure of the type such as the substitution between the Subjects(主體) through the organic relationship between 〈Hwanhuigiseo(幻戱記序)〉 and 〈Hwanhuigihuji(幻戱記後識)〉. These structural characteristics show the relationship of 'magician(主體)-the magic of general meaning(對象)-the writer(客體) in 〈Hwanhuigiseo(幻戱記序〉 replaces the relationship of 'the writer(主體)-the magic of social meaning(對象)-the reader(客體)' in 〈Hwanhuigihuji(幻戱記後識)〉 as well. From the internal logical point of view, the cause of this discourse structure is related to the separation of two Subject(主體) in the text. enunciative subject and active subject. Fmally these two things, "the triangled discourse structure of 'the Subject(主體)-the Observer(客體)-the Object(對象)"', "the separation of the subject(主體) as its cause", are typical of two poetics in two ways of the contemporary and the current meaning, that is, "the poetics of a confrontation and an identify" from the former and "the poetics of giving a space and filling it" from the latter. These are meaningful in the way that Park ji won showed how to recognize a social environment around himself.
