There is a preposition that KeumBangUl-Jeon had a composition of the early heroic characters and Family Consciousness in the age of Joseon Dynasty in this study. Under the preposition, this study was intended to understand that personal heroic features of heros in KeumBangUl－Jeon contributed the removal of threat and conflict against family and the consolidation of the position of family and the achievement of the safety of family. Especially, there was KeumBangUl, not HaeRyong, in the center of interior and exterior solution of problems. Also, the problems were focused on the heroic aspect of KeumBangUl, who was endowed with activeness and positiveness. Therefore, the study considered that the valuable purpose of KeumBangUl-Jeon in KeumBangUl as a representative of women and the feminine symbolism was researched.
From this process, this study abstracted another meaning that KeumBangUl Jeon suggested positive role and meaning of woman in the descriptive frame of organization and maintenance of family.
