Obesity is considered a major generator of metabolic syndrome. And obesity animal model was various, and high fat diet induced model in C57BL/6 mouse was important and relevant because the model was similar with human obesity. The aim of the present study was to estimate obesity, liver injury and steatohepatitis state in diet induced obesity mouse. Male 5 weeks C57BL/6 mice were fed a high-fat diet (60 kcal% fat, Research Diet: D-60 Group and 45 kcal% fat, Research Diet: D-45 Group) or a normal diet (10kcal% fat, Research Diet: D-10 Group) for 18 weeks. Terminal body weight was the highest in the D-60 Group (p<0.05) in contrast to D-45 Group and D-10 Group.
