As a result of industrial capitalism which has regarded the value of efficiency as the most important factor on the basis of mass production since 1960s, the uniform architecture for residence has changed our living environment uniformly. However, ironical as it is, new trends are emerging against this. The appearance of new concepts such as Chamsari(True life), Well-Bing, etc., meaning that human being and environment co-exist, makes environment-friendly and sustainable spaces returned to traditional architecture for residence which was adapted to nature. This will enable factors of traditional architecture for residence to take up a position in one residential form which can solve uniform residence problems that the society has had since industry revolution.
The material as well as the form in the structure has a great influence in expressing spatial characteristics. Particularly in this modern era, various kinds of material have been produced due to the technological innovation, which makes them more important, so the consideration on the material as a method to express spatial characteristics should be taken into.
