This study attempts to analyze how Kim Swoo Geun architecture has impressed Korean architecture in an emotional aspect, which also incorporates his spatial philosophy. While taking into consideration the backgrounds from which his architecture was originated, namely Korean traditional vernacular, this study tries to focus on the spatial organization of his architecture. This emotional spatiality appears in various terms such as 1)particular juxtaposition of void and solid space, 2)layered experience passing through it. 3)invited nature to the wall space, and 4)synesthesia feature with material and details. The purpose of this study is to examine the way of embodying his unique instinct. in specific architectural space.
