This paper analyses the social structure changes of Chinese-Korean(Korean minority in China) people caused by Chinese revolution and opening policy in the view of political economy.
In the 21st century, the Chinese-Korean who are striving for a leap in their ethnical improvement, is now vexed by population decline and migration which are disintegrating the old Chinese-Korean community. Recently the changes of China society make social and national problems evident, which affects Chinese-Korean people's society. In the political aspect, representation rate of Chinese-Korean is rapidly decreasing. In the economic aspect, Chinese-Korean people have economic development by activation of the capitalism in China. But the rapid growth of Chinese-Korean economy has brought about the transformation of industrial structure and the movement of population. These changes bring to a crisis of national identity among Chinese-Korean people. Moreover classes gabs and unbalanced income between cities and countries make the order of Chinese-Korean society floating.
We should reconsider the reasons why Chinese-Korean community can be formed and developed. In addition to that, We should seek the answer to this problem from the perspective of time, ethology and development, thus, the development of Chinese-Korean. Therefore Chinese-Korean people should establish national identity and solve the urgent political and economical problems through the various association with Korea. Furthermore, we should enlarge our perspective and focus our attention at the trends of globalization and informationalized civilization in the world.
In this study the economic and social problems that the Chosunjok society in China faces are examined.
