A university student is important as a leader of the country and a church in the future. Missionary work in universities is the shortcut to the evangelization of the world. Therefore, missionary work in universities is very important. Those people who have such a calling like this have founded Christian universities. However, the missionary work in universities today is not much active.
In this situation, what is the duty and the mission of college ministers? A college minister is a person who professionally serves in a special area, a university. Thus, college ministers should be professional at pastoral work and missionary work in a university. As a professional of missionary work in a university, a college minister is an evangelist, a teacher, a pastor, a bishop, a missionary and a minister.
What is the mission of a college minister as a person in charge of missionary work in a Christian university? It is similar to being a prophet, a priest and a king. All these works should be cooperated by every Christian in the university. A college minister is a conductor of missionary work in a university. To serve well for these duties, the next three points should be noticed.
One, the nature shape of a Christian university should be stabilized.
Two, the professionalism of college ministers should be increased.
Three, to make the effective missionary work in universities, all Christians and missionary associations, pastors and churches should build the united front.
