초록· 키워드

Recently some of Chinese historians mentioned "Koguryo dynasty was not connected with Koryo dynasty, therefore Koguryo has nothing to do with modem Korean". They also asserted "Koryo was not connected with Koguryo because Koryo was succeeded by Silla dynasty. At that time, Koguryo was one of me local governments of Chinese Tang dynasty. Since most of the inhabitants of Koguryo moved to the mainland of Chinese Tang's territory and assimilated the Chinese people after the collapse of Koguryo dynasty, the people of Koguryo is one of the ancient Chinese tribes, therefore the history of Koguryo dynasty is part of Chinese history".
In the mean time, most of Koreans, Chinese, and Japanese with common knowledge of history believe that Koguryo was one of the Three Kingdoms and the people of Koguryo was one group of Koreans. Therefore the whole history of Koguryo is considered to be part of Korean history. From this perspective, the Chinese assertion is strictly wrong interpretation of me connected history.
The officially recorded and published Chinese 25--Sa(25史) shows the connected contents as follows. The people of Koguryo was quite different from Chinese people and Koryo dynasty was succeeded by Koguryo dynasty. Under this kind of criteria, some Chinese historians do not accept this kind of their own historical records and interpretations.
In this paper, the writer tries to prove that the assertion of some Chinese scholars is absolutely wrong interpretations, and to prove that "Koguryo dynasty is one of the ancient Korean dynasties and is succeeded by Koryo dynasty, and me people of Koguryo is one of the Korean peoples".
