Kory? dynasty insisted that Kory? succeeded Goguryo dynasty. Because the name of nation, "Gogury?", also was called "Kory?" and Wanggun, the founder of Kory? dynasty, was the one of later people of Gogury? dynasty. Wanggun made Sugyung to play the role of second capital, because Sugyung was old capital of Gogury?. He also executed expansion policy to the north. Balhae dynasty also was succeeded dynasty of Gogury?. So he accoommodated wandering people of Balhae dynasty.
Government officials of Kory? dynasty always said that they unified the later three kingdoms and the people of Shilla dynasty consented to insistence of Kory?. But small part of later Baekje dynasty people did not consent to insistence of Kory?. Therefore in the time of rule by millitary officials, they evolved re-found movement of BackJe dynasty. But this consciousness gradully disappeared. Therefore in the time of Chosun dynasty did not breakup into two or three dynasty.
Kory? dynasty unified the later three kingdom without the help of any other nation. Kory? dynasty restored old territory of Gogury? dynasty. Therefore The unification of later three kingdoms by Kory? dynasty was substantial first unification in korean history.
Also The unification of later three kingdoms by Kory? dynasty shaped triangle power with China, north race country. Triangle power of Song dynasty - Yo or Keum dynasty - Kory? dynasty was shaped in north-west Asia history. Therefore Kory? dynasty became one axis of north-west Asia in 10 ~ 13 century.
