Parkgolf course is managed as an environmental facilities and the turf management is a fact not done enough now. This study investigated the turfgrass growth of Yeomjuparkgolf course that existed in Gwangju. As a result, it was judged that present lawn management was not appropriate in the investigation. Therefore, the actual condition of the turf management was investigated in the object parkgolf course and seven parkgolf courses of resembling type. The purpose of this study is to derive the problem and the method of the improvement of the turf management work of the park golf course.
The problem is as follows.
1. Because the turf quality in the fairway observed by the damage of the tread pressure, it was judged that the present turf management work was inapposite.
2. There was a problem to which the turfgrass in a place near from holecup is damaged easily.
3. Only the mowing and the irrigation were enforced, and there was a problem to which the turfgrass by the low management declined easily.
The method of improvement is as follows.
1. It is necessary to do the management work according to the standard of turf management suitable for the Parkgolf course without doing by manager's sense.
2. It is necessary to attempt the use decentralization by replacement and movement of holecup.
