The purpose of this study was to propose the construction sequential analysis method using FE analysis. As rapid cycle construction of building structure increases, predicting accurately load and behavior of the structure under construction becomes important to assure the safety of construction and prevent cracks on slabs. In the present study, existing construction sequential analysis methods were investigated and construction sequential analysis method using FE analysis was proposed. And to investigate the effectiveness of existing and proposed construction sequential analysis methods, the construction load of RC wall type structure by field instrumentation was predicted by theses construction sequential analysis methods. According to the prediction results, existing construction sequential analysis methods cannot predict construction load accurately because it assumes the stiffness of shores is infinite. On the other hand, proposed construction sequential analysis method using FE analysis showed improved prediction results because it can consider the stiffness of shores and construction condition reasonably.
