In This study has researched to draw up plans applicable to an exhibition space after analyzing the interrelation between the emotional design and an experience since people have recognized the importance of an experience as the factors for the development of man's creative thought. There are many factors for building up the creative cultural city; however, this study particularly limited the range to the exhibition facilities which can be experienced as cultural facilities. First of all, we presented the theoretical base data by the research of papers about the importance of an experience and the empirical design and then considered the theory of the emotional design as a construction space as the method of the study. As the result of this study, the characteristics of the experiential exhibition space applied the emotional design was found out. At first, it stimulates the emotions of people in experiencing the various senses by the interaction between a human and a space. Secondly, the interaction with digital technology provides the emotional experiences which couldn't be experienced in the real world by transcending time-space. Lastly, the interactive action makes people build up new images and think creatively about a space providing various experiences. In conclusion, it needs to proceed in the consideration about the interaction between the exhibition experience for space and people.
