Initially emerging as an extremely promising technology, Building Information Modeling(BIM) is now expected to significantly improve productivity in every aspect of the construction industry. This paper proposes a methodology in which construction operations are modeled through Object-Oriented Modeling technique. Construction Task Objects(CTO) are created, based on building component objects which has been formed in BIM modeler. CTOs are designed to work as blocks to be collected to form a higher level in construction hierarchy - Construction Process Objects(CPO). With the process object, Schedule-cost integration can be achieved because process objects possess both schedule related data and cost related data in parametric way. To verify the concept, it has been implemented in JAVA development environment which is known well as a toolkit to model things in object-oriented approach. With the test of application in JAVA, the effectiveness of the process model in terms of convenience and integration is proved. Lastly, a case study is conducted to verify the effect of the suggested system. It demonstrates that the system generates process objects automatically by algorithms developed to implement object-based planning and management of construction projects.
