This study researches the structure of light comedy and its correlation with reality under kim jong il's ruling period. The result is summarizing as indicated below.
1) The criterion classifying basic forms of a play on the basis of a tragedy and a comedy is the reality of the socialism.
2) A light comedy reflects on socialism society's relation on a foundation of between the working class' unity and cooperation.
① A light comedy is different form a satirical drama which is a form of a comedy.
② A light comedy is imaging harmony by the cooperation and unity of between the working class and the farmer class and the labor-intellectual class.
③ A light comedy primarily consists of an agreeable conflict which is created by main character and other character who have positive and negative meanings together.
④ Main character of a light comedy is the one that is doing with contemporary requests and revolution's progress at the same time although he has an old remaining ideology and old life style.
⑤ A light comedy's laughter is a smile such as a humor which come out from self-stubbornness, a mistake, an ignorance and an misunderstanding. In addition, a light comedy is trying to criticise and renovate negative imagines out of date through a smile.
3) A light comedy is means to control contemporary North Korea's public and subordinate concept of a comedy which came out from the Labour Party of North Korea's artificial control.
4) A light comedy appeared first in early 1960, and reappeared in 1970 from1980 through 1990 and has become a prime play form.
5) A light comedy's main subject in 1980 is economic agitation such as a self-revival, identity, mechanization, modernization, scientism.
6) A light comedy's prime theme in 1990 is self-revival and the military-people's consistence.
