본 연구는 우수 및 일반 남녀 하키선수 총 143명을 대상으로 개방형 질문지를 사용하여 경기 후 지도자가 선수에게 제공하는 코칭행동을 선수들의 관점에서 이겼을 때 듣고 싶은 말과 행동, 이겼을 때 듣기 싫은 말과 행동, 졌을 때 듣고 싶은 말과 행동, 졌을 때 듣기 싫은 말과 행동으로 분류하여 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 대표선수 경험을 기준으로 우수와 일반선수로 분류하여 응답사례별로 분석을 실시한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 이겼을 때 듣고 싶은 언행에서 우수선수 들은 격려, 칭찬, 팀 응집력, 감정표현, 보상을, 일반선수들은 격려 칭찬, 팀 응집력, 믿음 순으로 나타났다. 성별은 여자선수들이 격려, 칭찬, 믿음, 팀 응집력, 감정표현 순으로, 남자선수들은 격려, 칭찬, 팀 응집력, 보상, 목표제시 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 이겼을 때 듣기 싫은 언행에서는 우수선수들이 비판, 외부환경, 다음대회준비, 교만한 태도 등으로, 일반선수들은 비판, 외부환경, 경기내용, 교만한 태도, 대회준비 순으로 나타났다. 성별은 여자선수들이 비판, 외부환경, 경기내용, 차별을, 남자선수들은 비판, 대회준비, 교만한 태도 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 우수선수들이 졌을 때 듣고 싶은 언행은 위로, 격려, 조언을, 일반선수들은 위로, 칭찬, 조언, 격려 순으로 나타났다. 성별은 여자선수들이 위로, 칭찬, 조언 순으로, 남자선수들은 위로, 격려, 조언, 칭찬 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 우수 선수들이 졌을 때 듣기 싫은 언행은 비판, 폭언, 자존심, 협박, 훈련량 순으로, 일반선수들은 비판, 자존심, 팀 분위기, 폭언, 협박, 체벌, 대화 순으로 나타났다. 성별은 여자선수들은 비판, 자존심, 협박, 훈련량, 팀 분위기, 폭언, 대화 등으로, 남자선수들은 비판, 폭언, 자존심, 팀 분위기, 훈련량 책임회피 순으로 나타났다.
This study case is to analyze coaching leadership's words and actions that hockey players like or dislike after a game is over. We used open-ended questionnaires to 143 male and female hockey players (divided into excellent and general players group). The comments and actions are categorized into 4 cases: 1.Comment and actions comment that players like to listen and receive when they win a game. 2. Comment and actions that players dislike to listen and receive when they win a game. 3. Comment and actions that players like to listen and receive when they lose a game. 4. Comment and action that players dislike to hear and see when they lose a game. We divided the hockey players into two groups: first group is made up with players with the national team experiences which is called Excellent group and the second group without national team experience is called as general. And we analyzed answers according to the 4 cases and the 2 groups. Firstly, comments and actions that the players like to hear and see when they win a game are like Encouragement, Praising. Emphasizing team-work and Trust from both the excellent and the general groups. The female players like to get Praises, Encouragement, Confidence and Trust in the following order. And the male players show that they like Praises, Encouragement and team-cohesiveness. Secondly, the excellent group said they don't like to get Criticism & Blames, and Being lucky because of external factors, Mentioning about the next game and being arrogant when they win a game. The general group said that they dislike hearing Criticism & Blame, Being lucky from the external factors, Mentioning the game quality, and Being arrogant. By gender, the female players tend to hate criticism & blame, mentioning the game quality, and discrimination when male players dislike criticism & blames and referring the next game. Thirdly, when players' lose a game, the excellent group players like to hear Consolation, Encouragement, and Advice when the general group likes to hear Consolation, Praise, and Advice and Encouragement in the order of frequency. By gender division, the female players like to hear Consolation, Praise and Advice in order, and the male players like Consolation, Encouragement, Advice, and Praises. Fourthly, when the players lose a game, the excellent players don't like to hear Criticism & Blame, Harsh words, Hurting words on their pride, Blackmailing. Mentioning the amount of training volume in order. The general group dislikes Criticism & Blame, Hurting their pride, Team Climate, Harsh words, Punishment, and Conversation. By gender, the female players dislike to hear Criticism & Blame, Hurting their pride, Punishment, Mentioning the amount of training volume, Team Climate, Harsh words, and Conversation. The Male players mentioned that they don't like to hear Criticism & blame, Harsh words, Hurting their pride, Team climate, The amount of training volume, and Evasion of responsibility.
