The purpose of this study is to analysis the structural change between Korea-China trade until now, to assess the environment for processing trade and analysis their polices change for and performances of processing trade in China, and thereupon, to provide some useful countermeasures to those enterprises and governments which are exploring for the ways to conduct the processing trade successfully in the China.
This paper examined the market opportunities and countermeasures in China by investigating the recent changes in both the processing trade and VAT drawback polices of China, and provided the guidelines for the processing trade firms and Korean Government to promote trade with China.
To be successful in the trade with China, the intentions and the directions of the Chinese trade polices must be clearly understood.
